LifeForce Jazz (LFJ) began as an artist collective rooted in the music tradition widely known as jazz.
Our mission is to provide cross-cultural education and artistic enrichment in grassroots communities while supporting multidisciplinary creative artists and producers. We assist with the independent production, promotion, and distribution of music, literary, and visual art projects.
Headquartered in Northern California, LFJ partners with independent artists and jazz record labels seeking to reduce production costs while expanding their distribution reach. These collaborations are grounded in shared artistic values and a commitment to building distinctive, high-quality cultural catalogues.
We are dedicated to preserving jazz as a vital American art form and living cultural tradition. Our work primarily serves independent creators who align with this vision and are interested in contributing to its continued evolution.
In addition to production and distribution support, LFJ offers a robust jazz education component grounded in cultural history and practice. This includes private instruction, public lecture-demonstrations, and live performances designed to deepen understanding and engagement with the art form.
LFJ operates in collaboration with experienced cultural and music industry advisors and fiscal sponsorship partners supporting our nonprofit initiatives.
